I'm Robert Head, founder of Everstead Bookkeeping. I studied accounting at Utah Valley University with a minor in business management, and I've spent the last ten years building and operating businesses of my own.
My background has given me experience on both sides of the books. I understand the accounting, but I also understand what it's like to run a business, manage cash flow, keep expenses under control, stay on top of invoices, and make decisions without always having perfect information.
I've also spent several years working in financial technology, where I've worked closely with businesses and finance teams on accounting and financial workflows. That experience reinforced something I had already learned as a business owner: good bookkeeping shouldn't just keep you ready for tax season. It should give you a clear, current picture of how your business is actually doing.
That's why I started Everstead. I want small-business owners to have accurate, organized books and someone they can actually reach when they have a question.
